Diversity Day—Volunteers Needed—Thursday, November 29th

Diversity Day—Thursday, November 29th—is a SEPTA-sponsored 4th Grade event that promotes awareness and acceptance of physical, health, social and learning challenges. The teaching begins in the classroom with lessons given by Social Worker, Kirsten Sabrowski and culminates with activities in the gym. Through a series of enjoyable hands-on experiences, children gain an understanding of the daily challenges experienced by some of their peers here at Mill Hill School.

We need many parent helpers to run the stations. While most volunteers are parents of Fourth-graders, many people in our school community have relevant skills or personal experience to share and we welcome them to participate as well.

We will likely need 10 -14 volunteers per rotation including volunteers.  Please sign up at the following sign up genius link:  http://signup.com/go/tAdhEYo
