Curricular Enrichment Grant Fund

In April 2005 the Mill Hill PTA, Inc. Curriculum Enrichment Grant Fund was established to pay for faculty requested programs or materials that enhance the school curriculum.  Examples of past programs/materials include High-Tech/High-Touch Science Programs (K-2nd) the Fort Laramie/Oregon Trail presentation (4th grade), and a trip to an orchestral performance at the Klein Auditorium (4th).

The goal of establishing this fund is to sustain a high level of curriculum enrichment support requested by the staff without increasing the PTA’s annual operating budget.  Through the proceeds of the “Claws for Cause” fundraiser in June of 2005 as well as additional money from the PTA reserves, $18,600 was allocated over the next three years for the Mill Hill PTA, Inc. Curriculum Enrichment Grant Fund
